| 内容記述 | Recent written corrective feedback (WCF) studies in second-language acquisition (SLA) and second-language (L2) writing research have started to examine learner engagement with WCF - how learners cognitively, behaviorally, and affectively respond to WCF in the revision process. However, the notion of engagement as well as how it plays a role in facilitating the improvement of written accuracy has not thoroughly been examined. Therefore, this article reviews previous WCF studies that investigated the roles of learners' engagement with WCF and provides a more comprehensive understanding of the roles of engagement with WCF. The article also outlines a number of issues in the research design of contemporary studies of engagement with WCF that might help researchers develop methods that can investigate the relationships between WCF, engagement, and the improvement of L2 written accuracy. | |||||||||||||
